Overview
You can now see additional information for the Sysco SKUs you're looking to order, including:
Quantity on Hand (QoH): The number of units that the supplier currently has available for this SKU.
Order Status (see more information below): Indicates if the item is currently suspended, or requires a special order from your supplier.
This information is updated in Hailo every 5 minutes, so it should reflect the most up-to-date information from the supplier.
What do the different Item Statuses mean?
Suspended with Substitute: This item has been suspended by the suppler, but a substitute SKU has been provided. You'll see the substitute item listed underneath the product on your quick order list.
What to do: Update the quantity of the sub item to add it to your order.
Suspended without Substitute: This item has been suspended by the supplier, and they have not provided an alternate SKU to take its place.
What to do: Search the Hailo catalogue for an alternative that will fit your needs, or reach out to us via the live chat within your app, and we can help you find a substitute.
Special Order without Substitute: This is a special order item. The supplier doesn't have any units on hand to ship right away, but can deliver this item via special order. There is no allotted substitute for this item.
What to do: Contact your supplier directly to place a special order for this item. Your supplier's contact details can be found on the "Contact Us" page in the side bar menu, and in your order history details for the relevant order.
Special Order with Substitute: Item can be ordered on Special Order from Sysco, or they may have a sub on hand they can send you right away.
What to do: Contact Sysco directly.
Viewing Quantity on Hand and Item Status:
From Item Search:
If you've found the item you're looking for from the main search bar, or from the item categories, you'll see QoH and Item Status underneath of the item description and case size.
From a Saved List:
You can also see this information as you're ordering from one of your Saved Lists on Hailo:
How to check your Item Substitutions:
After ordering an item marked "Suspended with Substitute", you'll receive an order confirmation email from your supplier (as normal). The confirmation will include the SKU you ordered, and indicate the SKU of the substitute item.
This switch is automatically done by your supplier, and you'll receive the sub with the rest of your order.
